Can't say that I have, but I'm not sure why one would be necessary... a car screen isn't like a cell phone that gets stuck in a pocket and pulled in and out. I just don't see where scratches would come from. At worst, you'll brush jewelry against the screen, but I doubt with enough force to scratch.

FYI, they've posted the item twice; the other one already has one review, and they said it doesn't fit properly.

the screen attract so much dirt and dust also a fingerprint magnet, so I need to wipe it most of the times, just for an extra protection in case i accidentally wipe it with some object that can scratch our screen...I know not everyone need this, but its better to be safe :) thanks

I can comment a little on this. I do not own this one for a CRV (don't have one yet), but I do have this same one for my wife's MY16 civic sedan ex. I like it personally because:
1) Keeps the glare down
2) Finger print resistant (works well)
3) It does a good job at resisting scratches (Wife has nails)

Either way there's nothing wrong with a little extra protection in the interior. And I can't comment on the fitment because I'm using it for a different car.

I bought a larger size screen protector and cut it to fit. Had to make additional openings for the microphones (2). ......for my '15.

So it is possible to size on yourself from an oversize one. It does cut down on glare, finger prints, and scratch resist as noted by previous poster.

I was just thinking about this this weekend. I can't stand all the finger prints and dust the current screen attracts.

The one the OP linked to isn't available on amazon but the same one looks to be available on ebay. There's another brand available on amazon and ebay. They offer an anti-glare or clear option. Glare is not a problem with the current screen so I wonder if anti-glare is needed. I have gotten anti-glare screens for my phones before and I didn't like them because some of the cuts down the amount of light. Don't know if this one does or not. The clear screen offers "self-healing" (!!!). Not sure what that means but maybe I'll have to give that a try :D

Does anyone know if the screen is made of glass (or Gorilla glass like most phones) or if it's made from a hard plastic?

If it it glass, there should be no concerns about scratches unless you have sand on your fingers or you wear a diamond ring that could come into contact with the screen. I've always hated screen protectors. I feel like they reduce screen sensitivity and make the screen less clear. That said, if it really reduces glare and fingerprints, that a definite plus!

Unfortunately, it's some type of plastic. Yes, if it were glass, I wouldn't worry about it. I go without a protector on my phones. But the plastic screen will get scratched eventually. I've already put some scratches into the shiny plastic trim pieces around the dash/steering wheel and I bet one of these days soon, when I'm wiping dust off the screen or when I take it to the car wash, someone will scratch it.

I'm considering one simply for fingerprints, I don't think scratches are really a concern. NuShield contacted me for pictures of our screen, I sent them a few with measurements. Hopefully I'll hear soon if they decide to make one.

I think I may have to go the same route bsirk3, my 2016 CRV was built in Thailand, my cabin layout is for RH Drive.
One would expect Honda R&D to take into consideration scratches to the screen from women (and some men) with long fingernails.

Interesting, in the pics on amazon, it looks as if the hole is bigger than the knob. Good to know.

I did send Tuff and email asking the difference between the Clear and the Anti-Glare screens they sell. Namely, I wanted to know what "self-healing" means for the Clear screen. I also wanted to know what is the clarity of the Anti-Glare screen, especially compared to the Clear. But they never responded.

How do you like the Anti-Glare screen? Does it reduce screen clarity and/or sensitivity?

Has anyone found a glass protector that will fit? I am about to go ahead and pull trigger on the old-school clear vinyl or whatever the material is, but on all of our personal devices we LOVE the new school glass protectors, I was hoping someone might have tried one from a tablet. It wouldn't have to cover the whole screen, just the area that is touched.

On the Pilot forum there are a lot of people using this one:

https://www.photodon.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=7099-01&Store_Code=P

I contacted them and they do not have the 2017 measurements yet.
They are willing to custom cut one if provided the measurements.

They have one for the 2016 (6.8" x 4.2") but is a different layout (volume knob, etc.)

Is someone is willing to measure the 2017 screen?

My 17 CR-V arrives sometime in March.
