So I got an email from Diode Dynamics about upgraded LED fog lamp bulbs. Went to the site and it says the H8 XP80 bulbs are plug and play. I have read through the previous (now closed and updated to this thread) and haven't seen any reason I can't do this. Am I missing something? Not looking to change to the rectangular fogs of the hybrid, just get some brighter bulbs for my oval OEM ones. Anyone else done this?

From what I can tell from reading these forums, the plugs are proprietary Honda and not standard. However, this board is very confusing with information when it comes to this. Some say you can, some say you can't. I haven't looked at my fog lights myself, but I just kinda left it alone until I do. I would like to get yellow fog lights.

I used some extra scraps of Lamin-x I had laying around, as they still don't have anything precut available for the Hybrid LED foglights. 😎😎😎

They do, however, offer precut film for the standard, round foglights:

Silly question, I'll bet. But if I don't ask, I'll never know. I've ordered H11 led headlights for my 2022 crv-ex, as a replacement for lower lights. They should arrive today. Now my question is: How will I know, when I look under the hood, which is the 'lower' lamp socket and which is the 'high' lamp socket?
Thanks so much in advance.

turn the low beams on first and see which ones they are. I just did my 2022 and they are the ones on the outsides. Drivers side is cake. pass side you probably have to undo the one clip holding down the washer fluid neck. it's pretty easy once you can move that thing out of the way a hair.

Hello, I have recently purchased a used 2021 EX-L and the first thing I want to upgrade are the horrible LED round fog lights. I'd like to put in yellow bulbs, or from what I've been researching is swapping it out with maybe a 18/19/20 round traditional h11/h8 light and bulb? Anyone done this?

I'm new to the forum, but wanted to see if @BoostedV still has the led foglights available for purchase. I've had a 2019 CR-V ex awd in Sandstorm since 2020 and I'd like to begin modding it. I've located front and rear sport bumpers and wanted to upgrade to the led foglights. Are the foglights still available and are they plug in play?
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the Touring headlights have changed since the 2020 model year? Just got a 2022 EX-L that I’d like to swap to the LED headlights. These are the part numbers I found on here, but not sure if I need a newer part. 33100/33150 TLA-A41

We just got a 2022 hybrid touring and it comes with led headlights. I’m surprised all the 2022 tourings don’t have them

I'm about to acquire a 2021 EX and would like to also change to LED's since the halogens are not good. I'm coming from a '22 4 Runner so its going to be a big change, but I'm going to make it work at least in the short term. Excited for better mpg.

soo i was thinking of changing our 2020 exl lows to LEDS simply because I hate how honda changed the fogs light to white LEDs but kept low beams to be halogen white lights. SO my question is will I also have to change the main housing? ist going to have to be a full conversion? If I don't do this, will I be blinding oncoming traffic? as personally I hate when this happens to me and wouldn't want it happening to others (although not gonna lie, part of me is thinking if you cant beat them join them). I was also reading up on whitish halogen lights, while I know they wont be as white as LEDs, at least its not gonna be weird having warm white lows with the white DRL and fog lights on.... if so are there any recs for whitish halogens? there seems to be a lot in amazon, so I'm not quite sure what to get...

I installed these: Product Result

Big improvement for low cost.
do you mind sharing which one you specifically bought?and was it just "plug and play?"

But will it pass state inspection. LED headlight housings are specifically designed to reflect the LED light beams. Halogen headlights housings are not. That is why an LED bulb install won’t pass inspection. You need the entire LED headlight housings installed. And I don’t believe they are plug-n-play, so think twice before undertaking a FULL LED headlight housing conversion.

I find that so many oncoming cars now blind me with their bright lights, that I wonder if they’ve all changed bulbs or just drive all the time with high beams on.

Does anyone know how man k the stock Led fog lights are on the 22 CRV. Trying to find an exact match to swap the halogen headlight bulbs for LED bulbs. Checked the manual and all it states for the fog light bulb is LED.

The assemblies are over $750 a piece now, and not sure what else you need to do the OEM upgrade. I don't drive at night much so it really doesn't matter to me. Also, those plug and play Amazon LEDs are illegal in many states.

wondering if someone could help me out. I just upgraded my 2019 CR-V halogen headlights to the 2022 Touring LED headlights. Like other people in the past, I have issues with the high beam not working. was wondering if someone knew how to fix this.

The fog lights are white light, but IDK if same 6000K. Maybe someone else can answer that. Since I have the yellow covers, I can not confirm how close to being the same color.

Edit: see post #41 they have the fog lights turned on. Looks pretty close to me, but depends on angle of picture. Plus IDK if they have the round O.E. LED Fogs.

Hello Everyone. I wanted to upgrade my wife’s ‘19 CRV EXL headlights to LED. I went over this and retired thread and seams like ‘22 Touring LED could work. User @quickbunnie posted regarding the issue with hi beams not working and then with solution that solved that issue. I was hoping for more detailed explanation of that solution. It’s probably to late to ask for picture guide… , but maybe some drawings or slightly more detailed explanation. I need some help here to finally pull the trigger on this project. I would appreciate any feedback.
