2004 crv.....my driver's window goes up about 90% of the way and the goes crooked and binds up, i have to raise and lower the window a few inches a few times in order for it to go all the way up and seal into the weatherstrip.....what could be going on here?

Most likely a busted power window regulator. Pretty easy to replace, and fairly inexpensive. I put one in from eBay a couple of months ago, $35.
You would have the remove the door panel for a visual verification.
