I had shudder at certain speeds - it was cured by simply renewing the transmission fluid. The stuff that I drained out was brown; new new oil is pink/red and the car has run perfectly ever since. I rather suspect that the previous owner skimped on servicing........

 

This seems to be a fairly common complaint. Usually fixed by doing at least one transmission drain/fill, Honda recommends three with a drive between. Make sure only genuine Honda fluid is used.

This ⬆ is what fixed my 2012.
I had harsh vibration at low speeds (30-50) upon acceleration. 3x drain and fill- with a short drive in between. No more bad vibes again.
I had just purchased this car used a couple months earlier and it had just over 100k on it.

 

Try Shudder Fixx first. Had similar issue. told to replace torque converter by Honda dealer. Local mechanic told me might as well change whole transmission, but wouldn't guarantee it either. I found Shudder Fix at local auto part shop (AutoZone) and it worked immediately. Cost less than $20! Look up: Lubegard Transmission Fluid Additive Instant Shudder Fixx (2 fl oz. Tube). I bought two and the second has yet to be opened and this happened 2 years ago!
