I have a 2015 also with 73,000 and am having the same issues. Because it is intermittent and unable to reproduce at will, what tests did the mechanic perform to identify a failed starter motor?

I check the Brake light switch and it is engaging properly - I checked the battery and it load tests good and charging rate is 14.3-15 volts..I head a distinct click from the starter motor area when start button is pushed.. To ilovemyhonda ? is there a repair to the solenoid or just replacement of starter?
