How is the audio quality out of these? I’ve opened one up to try and repair one for a friends for his 2015 CRV maybe not the one said but the components were crazy small and low output mosfets. Sadly his fried a part that was fairly expensive so he opted for a new revised unit.

It does not connect to the oem usb it will have its own usb interface. If you are handy and can solder you can adapt it to it but it is not plug and play and would require cutting and splicing tiny wires that need a zero resistance connection to be proper.
