2017 CRV EX-L Turbo with Nav. Over 100,000 miles. I use remote start frequently but it stopped working. All other key fob features work. Remote start is "ON" in settings. I have tried both key fobs with a new battery in the alternate fob which I have used only 2-3 times to test & neither will remote start. Pressing the circular arrow elicits NO response (lights) from the CRV. I have NO other issues with the CRV. Can a user renew the fob settings without dealership help? Have I missed something? Suggestions?
**FIXED. Later found that the Walkaway lock was also not working so, both Remote Start & Walkaway Lock not working. No errors or lights. Mechanic took the door trim off with the intent of checking the actuator. What he said he found was a loose connection--unplugged the connection, plugged it back in & both features are now working. Probably took 10 minutes--no charge.
