Hi all - I am at a loss - hoping for some input.
I uploaded a video for reference:
First Issue: All Systems Failure Messages.
I have read various threads on this, and it sounds like it may be fuel injector related, but I will provide the history on this anyway. A couple of months ago, I had just 1 failure "Emissions System Problem". Took it to the garage, and they replaced evap purge valve. Drove it away with no alerts.
A few months later, all the systems alert message fired off. Just like it does in the video. I decided to disconnect the battery and thought perhaps that a new battery was needed anyway (original after 5 years). After I connected the same old battery, the messages disappeared....for a few weeks anyway.
They all came back last week. I replaced the battery with a new one, and no messages for a few days. The alerts came back and then as a last resort, I tried re-inserting the ECU fuse. That also seemed to work for a few days, and now we are back with all systems failing messages again.
So that is the first issue.
Second Issue: Road Noise.
It's difficult to detect in the video, but this all started last fall when I took it to our regular garage for routine maintenance. They said the front wheel bearings needed replacement. I held off, and when I had the CRV in another shop for something else, I had them check the wheel bearings, and they said they were OK. Road noise was just tires.
With that said, we are getting new tires this Friday - hoping that road noise disappears. Not sure if by listening to the video (around 60 km/h) you can detect if the noise is coming from bad wheel bearings?
Third Issue: Noise when braking
This noise is easily detectable when stopping. Sort of a creaking noise. Front brakes and rotors were just replaced last week - after I felt pulsing when braking. That is no longer prevalent, but I just started hearing this creaking noise yesterday. Any idea what this could be?
Thanks!
