you have to start the 10 min cycle then before it ends do the command again.

it will add 10Min

but lets say you auto start and its running for 7 and you do it again it will be 10 from That point (13min)

 

Why would you ever need to idle it for 20 minutes?

 

Just guessing here.....maybe it's not warm enough, or it hasn't de-iced enough?

 

As remote starts can be programmed for longer periods, simply just use your fob. to the car simple fix

 

Unfortunately my CR-V sits outside, so when it’s 10 degrees out and there is 4” of snow covering it more than 10 minutes of warmup is needed. I didn’t realize it just added 10 minutes from the second signal, I thought it set it for 20 minutes like it does on my wife’s 2017 Odyssey. Thanks for the replies.

 

Has science still not figured out a simple, fast solution for de-icing a frozen vehicle??? That disturbs me, greatly.

 

So, we have decided that the 2nd press of the FOB button will add 10 minutes from that point.
