Probably as much as the stop-start baloney.

 

For sure, just like 0w20 motor oil though, when you multiply that by how many cars are sold, you see the significance.

Just like spare tires, batteries and other things.

Anyways, I will leave this for wiper performance only, I digress.

 

My salesman is a friend of ours and I gripe to him periodically about the whole windshield wiper system - it just doesn't cut it!!

I don't drive my 2023 CRV very much. Have 8K on it and it's garaged. Coming home last night, ran into a terrible thunder storm and I found the wipers to work fine. First time I had to put them on hi. Of course, I didn't have to use the washers!

 

I could see a good sized puddle of fluid on the pax side blade being pushed across the windshield, but didn't see it on the driver's side. With the wipers parked I put a paper towel under that blade, touched the wash switch very briefly, and took a look at the paper towel. A wet spot was at each nozzle position. They do clean my windshield OK, and wipe OK in the rain, they're just different. For my next bladed the Bosch Icons look like a good choice. They come with an adapter for our push-button attachments.
