Just purchased 2024 Hybrid. Loving the features; step down from a Touring 2021 CRV Hybrid. Missing the Garage opener feature on mirror. Like the wireless Apple Carplay. Problem is, My iPhone is set as primary, wife's is secondary. I'm the primary driver, thus the settings.

Problem is there are times that it defaults to my wife's phone instead of mine for no apparent reason. Have deleted and re-programed with no help. Dealer has no explanation other than total reset, which doesn't seem feasible as it is so random.

Even checked the apps she has set up in her phone in Carplay to see if something would take priority. Anyone else experience this issue?

No wireless in Gen5, but I do have a 3rd party wireless dongle installed. My wife’s phone has priority, but whenever I want to connect my phone when we are together, I just ask her to turn off WiFi on her phone be we start the car. A possible workaround until you get it figured out.

Have a 2022 Odyssey that I am getting ready to add a wireless dongle to because I like the feature on the 2024 CR-V. Nice being unteathered.

Agree, especially for those short trips. This is what I’m using in both my cars. Seems stable and reliable.
