2025 crv hybrid sport touring hitch recommendation.

I have a 250-300lb utility 4x6 trailer with mods for kayaks, so I am intending on towing and bike racks. I have two options I think, curt hitch like 200sh, and ecohitch, 500sh. I do like the idea of ecohitch not rusting, my previous vehicle hitch rusted and always left marks on driveway, its petty but I do live in salt belt.

is there any reason other than price to go with curt? also, can I modify the stock hands free lift sensor to work with a hitch? or do I need to drop another 150 for the honda reloactor? I saw pics, and they look similar. I dont see why I couldn't modify it but it's worth a question.

650 bucks to enable towing my kayaks and bikes is worth it. I will be installing myself regardless of which choice.

I do have a 8 year 120k warranty honda, will they cause me grief over this? I have proof with my trailer title, says 250 lbs gross weight. if it ever came down to them claiming im towing too much.

opinions. thanks.
Are you sure it is a 250 pound Gross weight trailer? I would think the trailer alone weighs that much.

Personally I would go with the stainless steel one. I

I believe your hybrid has a 1000 max towing capacity. So be careful with the gross weight of the trailer/bicycles/kayaks. Does the trailer have brakes?
