Hi, I just bought a 2024 Honda cr-v LE. I am concerned about catalytic converter theft. Apparently, Honda moved the CC into the engine bay to make it more difficult to steal. Is this true of the 2024 model as well?

Thanks so much for your help.

Yes, tha cat is buried deep at the front of the engine bay.

To get at it, the entire front end would need to be taken apart.

According to 2023 Honda CR-V Press Kit

"To reduce wind noise, CR-V EX, EX-L and Sport feature thicker front side glass, while EX-L and Sport Touring add an acoustic windshield, and Sport Touring has acoustic front side glass."
Hope this helps.

My mom & my husband both drive a CR-V (2015 & 2018), so the car isn't new to me.
I've driven many of the older Accords, RAV4, CrossTour, Element, 4Runner, and currently a 2013 Acura RDX which I plan to sell and purchase a new CR-V . . . eventually -- I'm in no rush as my RDX is absolutely fine, but it's 11 yrs old and I'm getting the itch for a new car. My brother eventually wants it, but no rush. We typically buy new and keep for about 10-12 yrs.

Just curious if any news of the 2025 version has come out yet? I know the 2025 Pilots are coming soon.
I went and test drove a 2024 Sport L FWD yesterday -- I know I will be deciding between the Sport L VS Sport Touring when I'm ready to purchase . . . but here is what I am wondering . . .

1). Will the 2025 have the new shift that is no longer a stick, but buttons like the Pilot and other Hondas (& Acuras) have? I really like NOT having the stick shift.

2). When will new colors come out? I really don't LOVE any of the current colors. I won't get black---,
white and silver I've had over and over and I want something different, and that blue is nice, but a little too much for me.
Are new colors released yearly OR only when they make a body change every 3-6 years? I really really miss the old champagne/gold/neutral color they had for years and wish so much it would come back. How often are new colors released?

Thanks so much for any info you have. I know it will most likely be the Fall before we know anything, but the Pilots are coming soon and I'm just curious of anyone has read anything about the 2025 CR-V (not interested in the plug-in)

The MY24 year models are only just onstream now. The product cycle of the Pilot is irrelevant to the CR-V as they have two different timelines.

In summary to your questions, "no" is probably the most appropriate answer unfortunately.

I just picked up my ‘25 CRV hybrid SPORT AWD. It is the exact same car as the ‘24, with the exception of having Michelin tires in place of the Hankook on the ‘24’s. Otherwise, I have not seen any other differences.

I recently purchased a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid, and I'm super excited about it! However, I'm curious to know more about the specific options and packages that came with my vehicle. I’d love to see a detailed breakdown of the installed features, but I’m not quite sure how to get all this information.
I've heard that the original window sticker (Monroney sticker) is the best way to see the complete list of options, packages, and other important details like the MSRP, fuel economy ratings, and standard features. Unfortunately, I didn't receive it when I bought the car.
Does anyone know how I can obtain an original or a copy of the window sticker for my 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid? Are there any reliable websites or services that can help with this? Any guidance on how to navigate this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!

You can get the original window sticker by contacting the dealership, but it can take a bit of time. I recently used an online service to pull a few, and I’ve got some extra credits left. If you share the VIN, I can generate the sticker for you

I Don't feel comfortable to share the VIN here. But for reference if you can generate the one for this VIN
2HKRS6H89SH801708, that will help me to understand if I will be able to get the window sticker or not. Please do mention the site as well so that I can check it by myself.

I am excited about my new 2025 CRV Hybrid as well. Congratulations!

I have owned the 2025 EX-L 1.5T since October and am pleased with the vehicle's ride, comfort, and quality. I own also a 2021 and 2022 Pilot EX-L, the penultimate generation. The CR-V lacks some of the Pilot's features that I'd expected were consistent across the EX-L trim, my bad. These include no locking gas cap, no integrated 2nd-row window shade, and no tire pressure numerical read. I do like that the CR-V info center provides hours driven (though not cumulative, like a plane), but overall see Honda's info centers as inferior to almost every rental car I drive; other brands give data like engine, oil, trans temps and oil pressure. I read today that the new Pilot has only a blue temperature light, like my CR-V and my mother-in-law's 2017 Subaru, the reverse of the old idiot lights that activated only on overheating. What's wrong with a gauge, to get ahead of the problem. These are small concerns on an overall excellent car.

That’s because Honda doesn’t just do “the CRV is just a small version of the Pilot.” Honda does the “since it’s an economy compact CUV, we are cheapening out on lots of stuff.”

I'm also annoyed by the lack of ANY sort of engine management info. What am I supposed to do with that stupid blue engine temp light? What, does it turn red when there's an issue? Also, as mentioned, for the price it should have foglights, and if you're going to give it heated (but not cooled) seats, make the steering wheel heated. If not, don't make it cost $1,800 dollars to upgrade to it.

you can get a set of gauges in 1 unit that will plug into the OBD2 port.

This will monitor all of the different sensors in the vehicle.
You can even set an alarm point for which it will beep & let you know if there is something wrong with any of the system in advance.
