Hi. Newbie here. (I WILL get into this forum more once I get used to the car. Honestly !!)
Firstly I'll update anyone who read my thread about an intermittent engine rattle: It wasn't, as first thought by the Honda garage, an Air Con Compressor bearing. They believe it's probably an alternator bearing but not in such bad shape as to do anything just yet and for them to be sure where the fault lies. I'll let it get a bit worse so that we can all be sure what it is.
Anyway, I'd like to have the parking brake adjusted as the lever comes right up and the brake has to be pulled up hard to hold the car on my drive. I'm guessing there's a hole in the rear drums to adjust a ratcheted wheel to push the brake linings out a bit. But I'm just guessing here. Am I right?
Also, while I'm on, can anyone recommend a Service Manual for my car? It's a Sept 2012 2.00 Auto EX and I might try a few repairs myself but would feel happier having a decent Manual. Any suggestions?
Thanks SAFC (John).
