The console itself isn't that hard to remove.

this video (sorry its not in english) shows the 4 screws to remove and the wiring connector. my console looks different (08 ex-l version) but maybe this is an overseas version, but mine removes the same way. I see replacements can be had at pick your parts yards for about 30 bucks and i assume that would include all the electronics you would need

So I went to the Junkyard and the connections feed through the bottom of the carpet and into the back of the radio. My question would be, how would I be able to find that cable and find a way to pass it through the bottom of the carpet all the way to the back of the radio.

on my 2008 CRV, i believe the wiring connector is under the front cover of the console itself and not under the passenger seat. if i get some time today, i will pop the cover and send a pic
