AWD question

I know the 2014 has intelligent AWD, and only uses it when it senses the front wheels slipping. My question is how do you know when the AWD kicks in? Is there a light on the dashboard that lets you know you’re using AWD?

Interesting... both our 2012 and 2016 have the Real Time AWD system and Honda says that it engages right from the start -- even on dry pavement -- and disengages at steady speed. I can feel the rear end pushing right off the line each and every time. There have been a lot of TSBs regarding the system... so long as all of the updates are done, it should work just like that.

You'll really notice the rear wheels engaging if you stop on a hill and go.
I will definitely find out for sure next Wednesday as I’m getting the 3 time drain and fill and software update for my transmission at the dealer, so I’ll ask them while I’m there.
