Does anyone know what are the best tires to buy for my 2015 Honda CRV- 2WD- EX and why?

Are you driving in snow? Mud? Race track? Highway? Do you have heavy rains on a regular basis?

Do you plan upon competing in autocross?

HOW you drive and the conditions you drive in will determine the TYPE of tire you need.

Once that is determined, a quality tire can be found.

Welcome to the board, BTW.

Ya there is 100 different variables. What is best for each person varies. Deal with these questions in cycling too. Always give the same answer, the world is a lot bigger than your neighborhood, what is best for you would be useless for someone in a different region. Need more details about your intended use.

For the uninitiated, A good place to get tire recommendations is at TireRack.com

Fill out the Tire Decision Guide on the homepage. Then look at the user reviews & recommendations AFTER filtering for CR-Vs.

As I always say, don't buy the cheapest. Also, don't buy the most expensive, but with tires you can pay more and get a longer-wearing product.

Remember too, that tires should be replaced every 6 - 8 years. So factor that in (don't pay more for long life if you expect your tires to 'time-out').

Welcome to the site, estelle! This site is full of excellent information - I hope you enjoy your stay!

To your question...

As others stated, tires are a product of compromise. No tire model can score 10 out 10 in all performance areas (I.E. Road Noise, Wet Grip, Handling etc). That being said, the right tire model for you really boils down to your driving conditions and the attributes you expect your tires to deliver.

This may seem like a silly question, but why are you in the market for new tires?
