Took my crv in for an oil change to the dealer and they came back with all kinds of totally unnecessary work totaling near 1 thousand dollars. They outright lied about it leaking oil in multiple spots and they wanted to change timing cover among other things. I looked and saw nothing. I didn't trust them. They have horrible yelp reviews for doing this to other people. Took it to another mechanic and none of that needed to be done. It wasn't leaking an ounce of oil. I complained to the management and they actually apologized and said the service writer should never "have never presented it that way".

USE CAUTION when dealing with many of the dealerships. Don't blindly trust them. I can't believe Honda corporate allows this crap to go on. They should really crack down on theses con artists. It makes Hondas look less reliable obviously. This type of tactic of outright lying about repairs is no different than breaking into your car and stealing your radio. It's fraud.
I think we all have experienced dishonesty at the dealership and many other types of businesses. Bad reviews on Yelp and other forums can really hurt a company’s ability to stay in business and or prosper. I gave a dealership amply time to address a problem I had with their service and they chose to not address it, so I made a complaint with the BBB. They called me immediately and took care of it. The manager said “ I wish you hadn’t contacted the BBB”.
