Driveshaft Mount Nut Broke Free

One of the two (14mm?) bolts that hold the middle drive shaft mount on was a pain to get out.

On reinstall, it offered just as much resistance, and then popped the captive nut/rivet free.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Right now the driveshaft mount is only being held on by one nut.

I'm guess the nut on the inside is a rivet or a welded nut. Correct?

If it's a nut, I may cut out a small area so I can get a wrench on it.

You have enough posts for you to include pictures of your problem. Pics will help everyone here come to your aid. Also include your vehicle information by using your profile tab under your avatar. By doing so, every time you post a question, folks will know what year & model you have.

I believe that this YT video shows what your are referring to:

Might be a case where you have to take out the carpet & underlayment to see if the welded nut comes through the floor pan.

This was my problem, and you can see the solution :) It was a welded sleeve in there, not a nut.

Unfortunately, it only solved 50% of my problem. One of the bushing/mounts for the diff was shot. Got them off, not I'm just trying to figure out how to press them back in.
