Howdy!
I am trying to get my 2013 CRV LX AWD road ready. Unfortunately, it has been sitting unused for 18 months in my driveway... I read that I should lubricate the cylinder walls before turning it on for the first time. I have purchased some fogger oil and my plan is to take out the spark plugs and spray the fogging oil in each cylinder for 2 seconds. Then I want to manually crank the engine (also doing an oil change) to make sure that everything is lubricated before I turn it on for real.
My question is, what is the easiest/safest way to manually turn over the engine in order to get everything lubricated? Also which direction should it move?
Thanks!
