Need to order replacement engine mounts for my second gen and plan on doing the replacement of the mounts myself. Curious about what others' experiences are with aftermarket engine mounts are? I've seen some recommend Anchor and Beck/Arnley off of RockAuto, but I've also seen other people recommending staying away from them.

I bought OE Honda. I didn’t find them to be outrageously expensive. Only bad things I’ve heard about aftermarket ones is that some of them have holes that don’t line up right, but that doesn’t seem like that big of a problem because you’d be able to see that before installing. You might consider getting an extra deep socket to get the nuts off the studs.

Agreed. I am a firm believe of OEM engine mounts. I thought they are all just rubber, but even the 2AZFE top dogbone mount of my gf's 03 Camry was a night and day difference from aftermarket and OEM. Its not even the holes, but also the quality of the rubber. I ordered a whole set of OEM mounts from Partsouq though cuz they were expensive in the US. I have read that Beck Arnley is a known reboxer. I want to know if thats the same for the CR-V as I may undertake this project soon.
