My hybrid is being build next week, so was looking into how to drive it effectively as possible. I know the green EV light would go on and off when the electric engine takes over like at stop lights or traffic. I know that when you drive in EV mode it will not let you go into this mode if the heater or AC is on, my question is in Normal mode will it still switch back and forth between Electric and Gas if it there is enough stored power for electric or will running the heat or AC stop the electric motor like EV mode from coming on at traffic lights and stopped traffic even when battery is charged.?
