If you live in the U.S. it's getting warmer and this means more moisture in the air. Try this: Use a dispersant to get that electricity attracting & conducting water out of there. WD-40, damp rid, warm garage, sunlight, wind. Lubricate metal on metal with white lithium grease spray & use the nozzle straw in the lock after the WD-40. Silicone spray is for window jams (clean first with air compressor), moldings, and other rubber parts. A little goes a long way.
