Looking for the master switch that operates the auto windows

The master switch on our 2001 CRV has gone out (at least we think that's the problem. We've checked the fuses). We aren't having much luck finding one that's not very expensive.
Any help would be appreciated.

You mean the drivers-side control with all the window switches, or the lock-out sw there, that prevents passengers from opening windows?

Tried a junkyard?

Don't ignore the possibility that the wires at the drivers door hinge might be broken....

Keep in mind, because of the age of your vehicle it might not simply be the master switch. The wires in the harness that run from the door to the car body may be broken. Over the years, repeated opening and closing the door fatigues the wires and they start breaking. This is a common issue with all vehicles

I second the junkyard idea, my local usually has at least one or two cars compatible with my year. It’s a big one though.

maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never seen that happen. I’ve been driving 25+ year old vehicles for a long while and still haven’t encountered broken door wires. Engine bay a couple times, but never a common issue for me at least.
What make/model? I wanna steer clear lol

dang!

Why on gods green earth would they put a freakin connection point that close to a stress area?
Almost every vehicle I’ve had has a boot and loom situation where they leave a little slack and put any connections inside the door or in the chassis.
I can honestly say that’s a new one for me.

I'm currently dealing with some issues with my 99' Honda CRV EX. If you're looking for the drivers side door jamb wiring harness, or a replacement. I've come across this that would actually help with whatever you got going on with yours.

I've been having issues where the passesnger door, & both rear doors don't lock. The only locking I'm getting is from the drivers door, and that's it. I've been doing some digging, and come across this being the issue since something within the wiring is not sending a signal to all 3 other doors. Hopefully this helps you, or anyone else experiencing this type of issue!
