Hello,
1999 Honda CR-V manual AWD. A few years ago I had all of the bushings replaced. I believe this included a steering column bushing. Not long after that job was done the steering wheel squeaked when turning, annoying but acceptable. Then after a while the squeak grows to include slight jostles to the car, which is close to unbearable. I had my mechanic check it out and they sprayed some lubricant on the bushing and it took care of it. Now it's 6 months later and the squeak is back. I'd like to spray it myself and save money but I don't know where the bushing is or where the best spot to spray or what the best product to use.
Does anyone have any experience with this that can advise me?
Thanks!
Thom
