Hi all.

CRV 2018 EXL. I replaced my front radar (previous was damaged during accident). I buyed used one on ebay with part number dedicated for VIN number (according to hondaparts) - condition of this used radar is good and should working well.
After replacement the indicators (Brake system failure, lane departure failure, adaptive cruise control failure, etc) are still orange. Should I go to the Honda and ask for the calibration for this new radar? Should I put the new one with plug-off the battery? I don't have the warranty for this car (I'm living in Europe and driving US CRV version from Indiana).

Try pressing the on/off button on the radio for 5 seconds or until it beeps. Drive about 1/2 mile and everything should reset.

Precision is key for this particular sensor.

Since you say the vehicle was in an accident, and you replaced the radar assembly yourself.... that does not mean it is correctly aligned. There could very well be non-visible damage to the mounts for the array.

Also, how exactly do you even know the used array you purchased from Honda is good.. both physically and electronically?

Calibration has to be done on a Honda certified calibration setup and for that.. you will need to take it to a dealer that has a radar calibration setup (call and confirm first). In the US.. it seems that calibration is ~$350 from the quotes I have seen.
