I need to replace the transmission fluid (maintenance code 3) on my diesel, manual transmission. It's my first time so I'd like to make sure. Most videos and posts are on automatic transmission, so does not correspond to my specs. The filler plug is not really easy to find, it's under the battery tray as described in this post. It is my understanding I need to: 1. open the filler, 2. open the drainer, drain, close the drainer 3. refill with MTF-3 and 4. close the filler. Is there anything else I'm suppose to do?
