Yes, it does. This stereo system started in the 2023 models and was likely designed a year or 2 prior to that. It's likely that map was the only one available at the time. On top of that, maps are not updated every year.

First fallacy, you have three (3) years of free updates to your Garmin Navi not 3 updates.

Second fallacy, Garmin does not necessarily update every year. They advertise “roughly” or “about” depending which brochure you read.
Example: Update to version 2023 was in Oct 2022. Update to version 2024 was February 2024.

My 2022 which was built in 09/22 came with the 2021 Version just like yours. If Garmin holds true to form, that means I will only get two updates during the three year period.

Sidebar: I received an e-mail from hondanavi on 5/15/24 advising me that there was a new update available for my CR-V. That was another fallacy courtesy of Honda. The latest version is 2024 for the POS Bean system.

Disclaimer: I do not know for sure that your ‘24 uses the Bean system.
