P0303 code

Had a P0303 code "Cylinder 3 misfire" on my 2012 Honda CRV. I changed all my spark plugs, erased the code and ran the diagnosis again. Same code came up, switch the cylinders around to see if it would show a different cylinder misfire. Erased the codes- same code came back up. I'm NOT a mechanic but just spent too much to have my breaks and oil changed at a shop, so figured I would do it myself. But, I am at a total loss. The engine light is on as well as the electronic power steering, vehicle stability assist and AWD lights.... and it won't let me accelerate. Anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated.
Hi Ra
Start by methodically checking through your air intake & vacuum system. While you are under the hood check the HT leads too. If all is fine it "could" be a bad injector, but this is extremely rare & experience tells me "knock sensors, cam position sensors & chain tensioners" are far more likely.
The problem is basic code readers only give you a generic code & P0303 simply means as you say misfire. But beware, some immediately jump on the "valve waggon" for every misfire under the sun & it's simply not the case.
You probably need a diagnostic which is far more detailed as the cause could be literally anything. A diagnostic will pinpoint the root cause & save you time & money. It's worth noting AAA vans carry diagnostics but that obviously depends on you being a member??(y)
