I recently purchased a 2014 crv with super low miles (59k) last week. Unfortunately, someone backed into it today, and messed up the front bumper. Luckily the damage is not bad, I just need to replace the front bumper cover, just the painted part.
Now, I was wondering if anyone has experience buying from partify, or if anyone has any experience buying OEM quality parts versus CAPA certified parts. The difference is around $500.
The guy who did it gave me his info and it turns out he is my brothers coworker. He already stated that the price of the oem wouldn't be the end of the world, but I would prefer the more affordable piece IF it fits right and is of the same quality. I know I would appreciate the same mercy if I was in the same situation.
So, does anyone have any experience or advice? I have read some CAPA parts fit perfectly, and some have uneven panel gaps. I am mostly hoping someone has experience with this specific vehicle model and part maker, which is why I am posting here.
