I am a mail carrier. CR-V's are the preferred vehicle. After 2011 the consoles prevent sitting in the middle.
I'm looking at newer models to be my daily driver for several years but at some point i will need to use it full-time as my mail delivery vehicle.
My question is, can the consoles be removed? I tried asking Honda and they said it was not recommended because it would void the warranty. By the time I'm using it strictly for work, a warranty won't be an issue. I just need to know if the vehicle will still operate safely. 2012-2017 are the years I'm considering. Thank you!
