So, I take my car in to be serviced at 101k miles. Tune up, lube, oil and filter. The dealer tells me that the rear differential fluid tank is leaking, at the plug where they remove the fluid. They said that the plug turns freely and the threading seems to be gone. They said this is a common problem for 2017 model year CRV'S. The steel in the tank is very thin, so the thread strips easily. To replace the tank was $3000.
Has anyone else experienced this. Has Honda since fixed the problem? I have no idea how it happened.
