So my car is is 2015 crv lx awd 2.4L. Car was bought from a local Honda dealer around 2020. I've had to replace the rear pads on both sides 3 times now with mileage somewhere under 10k hive or take. The fronts are still good and have not needed to be replaced. I suspect that they're either dragging or the front aren't working properly. All hardware is replaced every time and lubed with ceramic brake parts lube. Pins are cleaned and regreased with AGS SIL-Glyde. If there's any rust it is cleaned. I also have a theory that the culprit is possibly a bad master cylinder but am not certain. Kinda looking for some advice on how to narrow this problem down. I don't like throwing parts at a problem.
I should also mention the inner and outer pads on the rear wear down almost the same amount each time that's why I don't believe it's the pins and when the caliper piston is retracted it doesn't feel like it's binding. So I also believe it's not the calipers or hoses. Especially with it being both sides simultaneously. But I could be wrong and if anyone has any insight please let me know.
