Replacing the Battery?

We have a 2010 CRV EXL and a 2013 Pilot EXL - both 4 wheel drive for driving in the mountains and in snow.
The CRV is VERY low mileage (14,500) and the Pilot is low mileage (44,900).
We are both retired and as you can see we do not put a lot of mileage on our cars & the Pilot is generally used for any trips.
I am not one of those car owners who replaces batteries unless absolutely necessary.
I keep battery maintainers available for all our vehicles and use them whenever I know the car has been or soon will be sitting around for quite a while.
I also have a full battery charger that I connect to any vehicle that gives the slightest hint of the battery acting weak & give it a full charge.
If I find that the battery does not hold a charge adequately even after my proactive maintenance regimen, then I replace it.
The original battery in our CRV lasted 11.5 years & I replaced it with an Interstate brand battery with better specs than the original Honda battery from our local Costco.
The original battery in our Pilot lasted 8 years & I replaced it with an Everlast battery with better specs than the original Honda battery from Walmart.
This approach has served me well throughout my many years of driving and car ownership, so I expect I will continue this way.
