Just replaced the battery on our 2011 EXL- it was 4 years old to the day, and it finally failed.
Now for the first time had a "stumble start" on my 2015 EX. When I hit the starter- I got just a click. Tried again and got a weak slow start with some rattles in it. Almost sounded like valves. But it did start and ran fine- and no more issues after that. Cranks fine ow. It's been close to a week now.....hasn't happened again.
Pulled my records and that battery is 2 years 11 months old. (36 mo. battery)
My question: Do any of you replace that battery- 1) just on time alone, or 2) first sign of trouble, or 3) when it fails.
Basically- do you replace your battery as a preventative, or do you wait til it fails?
