Has anyone purchased a spare tire or spare tire kit for the 2020 CR-V Hybrid?
Has anyone had to use the inflate kit supplied with the Hybrid CR-V?

I ended up getting a 19" rim and full-size spare, along with a jack and tie-downs. Only put the spare in when we go other than local. That whole area where the repair kit is, is basically empty and you can remove the entire insert from side to side with little effort. A full size spare might fit in that well but would be in the way if you are going into the boot constantly. I looked into the donuts they're selling but there is like a 4% difference in the circumference and I don't want to screw with the electric motors and void a warranty somewhere.I have a Honda 2021 CRV Hybrid. It had no spare and I have scene it’s a definite topic. I did purchase a spare kit from modern spare. My question is I want to mount this to a spare tire mount. Can I get this done on the lift gate. I have to have constant access to my trunk area as I do deliveries. What options ate out there for this situation. I already got a flat and luckily I was close to a tire shop. I have a compressor as it came with the car but when I gave it air I barely made it to the shop which was under 2 miles away. This cannot happen. I need the spare with me but I also need my trunk space. Any suggestions???
I had a 17 CRV and put a full sized 18" spare in the donut well. Barely raised the floor of the trunk. If you're going long distance I don't trust a donut. Have done 2 5K trips that past 2 Septembers, but I have a hybrid that doesn't have a donut well and the 19" full size spare kills the trunk room and the on the roof turtle kills the mileage.I have Honda CRV 2024 Sport Gas model (with Spare tire) and Planning to take a long trip towards Cochrane from Ottawa. I do have Honda Road side assistance and the TD Grand Touring plan. However, I am thinking to get a full spare wheel ( 18 inches ) and replace current spare to have a peace of mind. Does any one know if it will fit in the Spare tire bay. Just trying to be extra care full as i don't have that much of experience doing Canadian road trips, specially towards Northern Ontario. Appreciate any insights. Thank you.

We've gone CO to NJ and GA 2 times in the fall. A 29" spare, in the boot does, not leave a lot of room for belongings (if you want to keep them covered). Last trip I put a cargo carrier on top and saw my mpg drop 10%. In the process of getting a hitch and spare tire carrier that swings out. Dealing with the cargo carrier on top is a PITA, especially in a hurricane. I had more room doing the same itinerary with my '97 Civic coupe, but that was a 14" wheel vs a 19" wheel!!Given the capacious boot size of the CR-V, nothing stopping a Hybrid owner from throwing in a full size spare![]()
I was thinking of purchasing the modern spare. The picture they show of the jack does not match the lift points of the 2025 honda crv hybrid. Can someone who has the modern spare jack post a picture of their jack?
