Timing Chain Replacement

Yes, it might cost you $1000. o_O

But as Coastie said, timing chains are not a normal wear item. You will get OBD codes if the chain stretches...the crankshaft and camshaft sensors will no longer be 'in time'.

Just monitor the oil level. Low oil (more than a quart down) increases the wear.
