I have a 2019 CR-V which is just reaching 100,000 miles (lots of road trips). I see that Honda recommends replacing the timing chain at 100,000 miles, but also read online that the chain should last the life of the vehicle. I've maintained the vehicle very well and have had no problems thus far. Does anyone know how important it is to replace the chain and is it really going to cost me over $1000 ?? Thanks for any help...

I would like to see/read where they want it changed, for reference.
As above, no belt on these. A chain replace I would imagine would be well over 1000, yes. Timing belt on older stuff may be close to that now and days.
