On our GDI European car, I just drilled a small hole into the intake ducting, AFTER the air filter housing but BEFORE the throttle body. Just big enough for the CRC nozzle to fit.

You can seal it with some aluminum ducting tape from a hardware or home store.

Wow, that is brave!

Why? No issues,has never come loose, you don't even need to replace the plug/seal EVERY year. The aluminum duct tape is shaped like a circle with a tongue.
