My 2012 has about 210,000 miles on it. Just today I noticed that the vehicle makes a cyclical whump (best description I have) noise going straight. The noise doesn't get louder with speed but increases in frequency as the speed goes up. Braking seems to have no effect. Turning left increases the noise. Turning right the noise either disappears completely or gets to the point I can't hear any noise.
Measuring temps both front rotors after driving are about 200 degrees. Left rear about 190. Right rear 210 to 220 depending where I measure. Both calipers in back measure about 200.
I'm thinking either wheel bearing or rotor. I just replace the rotors with Detroit Axle rotors 5000 miles ago. I live in a rural area so no hard stops or frequent stops. I would think if it was a rotor problem the caliper would be much warmer than the other side.
The other part that might be related is my gas mileage has only been 26/27 on the highway. Usually it runs about 30mpg.
Thoughts?
