Hello, I have a 2002 CR-V and my drivers side tail light has a fairly large crack on the right side (facing the trunk) with a little bit wrapping around to the front of the light. There was a good amount of water getting into the light, and I spent some time looking at solutions. I sealed it with some epoxy that I had lying around and it seemed to fix the problem for awhile, until recently when I noticed the water level rising again inside the light. I am now looking at buying a new tail light online (the whole fixture: turn signal, brake light & reverse light). My question is this, can I install a tail light from a 2005-2006 CR-V in my 2002? They look identical in dimensions, just better styled in my opinion. I was going to go ahead and order a set of two, when I saw a thread on here about the headlights looking identical in size, however they aren't. Any feedback would be nice. Thanks!

I had a similar problem with my cr-v 2005 rear tail light with water sitting inside the cover , I ended up unscrewing the tail light taking it out from the car and drilling a small hole in the bottom of the tail light to drain the water out and reinstalling,this has saved any future issues of this problem occuring.
You sure can. I put 2006 tail lights on my 2002. The updated version looks way better. Totally fit the same too
Mine is Japan. You just have to find the ones for UK. Not even sure what the difference is, but I guess you can't interchange Japan and UK builds.
