Hey everyone. My 2004 CR-V was rear-ended by a drunk driver and totaled out. I bought it back and I’m currently hunting up a replacement liftgate/rear hatch door. Found a second gen 2006 CR-V with a solid liftgate at a junkyard. The junkyard’s part database says a 2006 won’t fit a 2004. I know the 2005 and 2006 are facelift years but I didn’t think there was any changes to the liftgate at all except the color-coded trim on the SE of those years. Wanted to see if anyone could confirm from experience. Online Honda parts catalogs show the 2004 and 2006 liftgate as being the same part number (68100-SCA-A80ZZ).
