2014 EX CRV starts up then immediately shuts off

Hello,

I have a 2014 EX CRV that will crank, start up and then immediately shut off. It's the stock key start. There is a green flashing key light on the console that appears when I put it into the second position so I am pretty sure this has something to do with the immobilizer system but why would this just happen out of the blue? I have tried all 3 of the stock keys that came with it and none of them can properly start the car. Also the 2 keys with the FOB will not lock/unlock the car remotely and the panic button does not work, I just replaced the batteries in both of them a few months ago and they were working fine. I checked the ACG fuse in the interior and it is fine. Mileage is relatively low for its age, 48k

I am at a loss of what to do here and am trying to avoid having to get it towed to the dealer. I appreciate the help.

First, try resetting the systems in the car by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery for 30 sec. The MICU unit may have lost it's mind. But more likely it has failed and needs replacing. The other possibility might have been the RFID sensor in the ignition switch has failed. But since the car is not responding to two of the FOBS, I'm guessing the MICU.

Thanks for the tips but it did not help. I unplugged the battery for a minute then reconnected it, didn't help. I checked all the appropriate fuses with a multimeter and none were blown. I'm at a loss for what to do besides getting it towed to the dealer.

If I had to take a guess there may be a short in the electrical system that is messing around with it. I have to jump the car to get it to even start it. The split second I take the jumper cables off the battery dies. The battery aint that old, maybe 2.5 years and I wasn't suspecting any issues when it was running properly not that long ago. If it aint that then I don't know.

Looking at some Youtube videos it certainly looks like its the MICU..... but why would that just randomly fail? It's frustrating.
