2014 Honda CRV 2WDLX: Severe back and leg pain in front passenger seat?

I've registered here as a last attempt for help with my 2014 CRV, 2WDLX before we get rid of it.
I've only owned Hondas all my life. We bought our first CRV in September and love the car mechanically but both of us have leg spasms, severe back, leg and hip pain ever since; especially while in the front passenger seat. We went back to the dealer and they had no solution.
We have spent hundreds on back supports, seat support cushions, chiropractors and back doctors. Our latest advice from the neurologists was get rid of the car.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any solutions?
Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you.
Ed

Sorry to hear that. Not sure what kind of help you can get here. Many have reported that the seats are very uncomfortable. And also many have responded that they have no problems at all and like the seats.

Personally I have always found that it takes me a long time to get Honda seats adjusted just right.

Strange that both of you have this problem. Usually it's an individual issue. But nobody can adjust your seat over the internet. Sorry.

Personally I think you should get rid of the neurologists!

Both of you with all those symptoms????

Really sorry you are having that problem Ed!

I went from a sedan (an older sedan) where my hips would bother me after driving a couple of hours. My 2007 CRV has put an end to that. My hips don't bother at all now and I can take long road trips now where in my sedan that was impossible. I have leather seats and it has given me so much support.

Only telling you my story because my CRV has helped straighten out my hip issue. I also go regularly to a chiropractor but nothing helped my hips till I got my CRV.

Wish I could tell you more. I bought my car broken in since I bought it 1 1/2 years ago. Do you think the seats are too stiff?

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. We are not having such issues with our 2014 CR-V. I sat in the passenger seat. Compared to my previous cars and SUVs I think the CR-V allowed us to position the thigh, leg, and foot at correct angles. The seat does not press against the thigh. The foot rest is flat across both feet and slopes up nicely. There is enough clearance above the toes.

Some additional detail may help understand your situation better.
- Did your chiropractor/ neurologist sit in the car to experience what you are experiencing?
- What vehicle were you using before the CR-V?
- Does the seat press against the thighs, is there not enough clearance for the feet?
- Is there something that is forcing you to sit at an angle?

I can't help you at all but IMO, my 2015 CRV seats are not comfortable at all. I would add a seat cushion but my head would then hit the ceiling of the CRV. I feel weird comparing the CRV to my 11 year old Camry but looking back, that car had the best seats!

I did get a survey from Honda recently and one of the items mentioned for improving the car was "luxury leather". I marked that #1.
