2015 CR-V Clock, Door handle unlock sensor malfunction after battery replacement

Hi,

I have 2015 CR-V EX-L AWD.

I recently replaced my battery without plugging it to the backup powerbank. Consequently, my clock and door handle touch sensor are not working properly.

The clock resets to the time when I replaced the battery everytime I start the car and I lost my driver side door handle touch unlock sensor. The lock button still works and I tried factory reset of my infotainment.

Any advice for me?

Thanks!

The best practice in terms of next step for this is to disconnect the battery (negative terminal) for 10-15 minutes and then reconnect it (connect 12v first then ground). This often will cure mysterious glitches from a power loss, costs nothing, and is worth a try.

Check with with your results on this and if that fails to solve the issue, then you have a deeper level of troubleshooting steps to explore.
