Agreed, not in the manual, but as noted elsewhere, that's the satellite icon, indicating your GPS is active. When the system is in the process of acquiring satellite signals to get a GPS fix, the icon blinks.

i do not have the navigation. so are you saying it's for the hondalink that activates in an accident?

i thought it was for the satellite radio.
