2018 CR-V Rear Suspension/Stability Control Overcompensating?

Hi,
I drive a 2018 EX-L in very good condition with approx. 40K. I've noticed multiple times when I'm driving on any kind of snowy, unevenly plowed roads, that the back end of the vehicle warbles in almost of circular motion. This has happened on the OE tires and since I've replaced them with a different brand. I don't feel the tires has anything to do with the feeling. It almost feels like the stability control system of overcompensating to the perceived conditions. This has happened on decent state highways and more recently on an interstate in Wyoming. While passing on some patchy, light snow/ice it was getting pretty wobbly, but just rear end. There were two adults and moderate weight for luggage. I'm usually too nervous to attempt at shutting off the stability control when it happens. Any others that have a similar issue? FYI - I've never experienced this in my previous Ford Edge or Ford Escape SUVs. Thanks!

Shutting off Traction Control is no big deal on snow. It will just allow it to rev up more when wheels spin. The nanny still is there to keep things in check should you get going sideways.

CRV is definitely more aggressive and more rear biased. I have a screen on my 22 that I can see where the power is going to on each wheel. I don’t think the 18 has it. But compared to my Tiguan 4 motion o definitely agree I can feel the back wheels are far more grabby. I just learned to let it do its thing. It’s a very sophisticated system and knows what it wants to do.
