Does anyone know what the fog light bulb size is on an Ex? Bought some H11's but the bulb was too long, and the plug too small.

I think the confusion here is that different trim levels may have different, or no, fog lights. Further confused by the slight differences in trim features on Hybrids vs ICE versions. Then we have differences between region specific features.

Hondas US website states that EX and above trim levels have LED foglights. You can clearly see that in this video:
Yet you can see in the various exterior feature photos on Honda.com... foglights that are an LED horizontal array, LED single bulb and reflector, and no foglights at all. I can't tell if in the US there is still a non-LED foglight feature offered on some trims.

So, really this discussion needs to focus on trim specific features and what they are... because as you can see in your own screen shot, as well as over in Traylaws..... there is an asterisk for Foglights in your documentation and the footnote says.. not available on all models.

My manual does not state the fog light size either, but searching for LED replacement bulbs for my 2020 EX brings me to a page on this site showing H11/H9/H8 sized bulbs fit the fog light area. You can contact their customer service and ask them, they will definitely tell you. I have purchased their Low Beam LED bulbs for my vehicle and they are amazing. Great customer service, great bulb brightness and color and Im hoping longevity. I was able to find Lasfit on Walmart as well for about $15 cheaper. They wouldnt price match, but the Walmart order still was shipped from Lasfit, so go figure ha. Pro Series For Specific Vehicles

These are the ones I got for my low beams btw, and although a little pricey, Im hoping they last and will outperform the regular bulbs I end up having to replace almost every 6 months anyways at about $60 a clip. On the newer vehicle I didnt need a canbus as its ready to work with LED so it was just take out the old and put in the new. 72W 8000LM 6000K H11 H8 H9 LED Bulbs White|LS Plus Series

Got it. So these are the older style LED foglights (not the horizontal array shown in the video I shared, which are a field replaceable assembly, you can't change the bulbs).

Since the owners manual does not specify any part numbers for any of the LED lights..... is there a part number or size designation on the actual LED when you removed it? Baring that, make physical measurements... such as the examples I shared below.

I plugged in 2020 CRV into my amazon account and then started searching for LED foglight replacement bulbs. It came back with a ton of results compatible with 2020 CRV ... and so I picked this one to see what it said. Note: The compatibility feature at Amazon is not 100% perfect, but I have found it to very seldom be wrong, so I often use it for a first check on parts for my vehicles.

A different one, same manufacturer came back as well, and the physical design looks to be what you described earlier, though the kelvin temperature is low and it is amber.

The various autoparts supply merchants online that specialize in Honda parts, I would expect you can look up the correct OEM bulb, and other info to chase after-markets, there and narrow things down as well.

If you still strike out.. you could always go the "old school route" and pull one and take it down to the local auto parts store an say "hey.. I need one of these." :)

Good luck in your quest.

Old post but I have a photo of the fog light bulb found on the 2020 CR-V and I assume the 2021, US market with the round housings, this is from my EX-L. It’s a little short proprietary “button” LED bulb with a proprietary connector, it is not the H8 bulb some sites have listed for the 5th Gen refresh. The only upgrade I have seen are the $150 kits on EBay that are a horizontal light bar of 4 LED emitters, and I have no idea if it’s an actual upgrade on the light but I seriously doubt it is at that price point considering this replaces the entire housing & plastic insert in the bumper that the housing is mounted to. I’m sure they are just like the OEM fog lights and 95% of all OEM fog lights in that they are decorative, not functional like say a set of Morimoto X8 fog lights are. I think the only option is to retrofit the bumper insert to take a set of real fog light housings such as the X8, this ain’t upgradable like the hi & low beams by just replacing the bulb as you can on a 2017 - 2018 with the rectangular fog light housing. I want to keep the round housing, it’s part of the appeal I think.

Yea it’s very tight in there, didn’t think any bulbs would fit, thanks!
Did you cut off the Honda proprietary connector for the fog lights and switch it to the standard connectors you see on fog / headlight bulbs? Looks great, a definite improvement over factory.
