5th gen crv code P0172, P0301

I’m back re rando dashboard flashing lights that neither the dealer nor my independent mechanic has been able to dx or fix. 70k miles on it.
I bought a Fixd scanner and got 2 codes…

pP0172, fuel too rich bank 1

P0301, Cylinder number 1, misfire detected

Any advice (I’m 72 yr old female and this is beyond me). TYVM!

ialso Took it to Autozone for scanning, and thry got the same codes.

ive had it into both places more than once but they didn’t diagnose this problem.

afterwards, in desperation, I bought a Fixd dongle and it gave me these codes. After I started this thread, I found TSB 19-032 which addresses this very issue. Very frustrating that I had to do that myself.

So I’m going to have the software for this issue updated, and have the spark plugs changed, which is under warranty. Honda has extended warranty beyond 5 years50K, to 6 yrs and unlimited miles.

I will report back after the work is done.
