I got notice of two trouble=ing recall pertaining to 2023-2025 CR-V and other models.

There are no parts or repair procedures released yet and no timetable for any remedies. The fuel pump recall has language that states a fuel leak can lead to a fire and injuries.
The steering gear one states that loss of control can result in damage and injuries. The dealer is in the dark. I got a major run-a-round from HONDA customer service. Honda has issues a “stop sale” on affected units. I can only guess where the priorities will be when parts are available. I would want the “stop sale” units to get the first fixes, so that they can get sold.
The vehicle is at the dealer, I asked the serf=vice manager if he would be comfortable turning his family loose in a car that the manufacturer states may crash and burn. I understand that these are “worst case” scenarios. I’m just not willing to gamble on the lives of my family. HONDA won’t even tell me if my VIN is part of the recall units. The fuel pump recall covers approximately 700k units and the steering recall covers over 1.5 million units.
Am I overreacting?

There are procedures. They don’t have to lower the front cradle any more to do the steering recall. And the fuel pump they will be removing the sending assembly and replacing the motor itself. Good times EDIT: Apparently the service manager didn't know at all what he was talking about. They just test the high pressure pump on top of the valve cover for fumes or visible leaks. Oddly though my recall for the fuel pump issue vanished. The one for the steering still remains. Guess the pump checked itself magically.

How did you get "notice of two trouble=ing recall pertaining to 2023-2025 CR-V and other models" ? I still haven't received anything as of today. I noticed language on the second page that indicate "owners of affected vehicles will be sent a notification of this safety recall".

Interesting, I sold my 23 Accord hybrid for a new BMW X3 . It will probably be more reliable. I'm waiting along with the dealer to get my wife's 23 CRV steering fixed. As of the end of last week no parts available for that recall. Honda says they are on the way. The dealer hasn't got the parts for the fuel pump recall from last year!

Full quote from the stop sale:

NHTSA Recall Number24V-763
MFR Campaign IDPJW
Campaign Description2023-25 Multi-Model High-Pressure Fuel Pump Stop Sale
Recall Date10/14/2024
Recall StatusRecall INCOMPLETE. Remedy not yet available.
SummaryAmerican Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2023-2025 multi-model year Honda vehicles. Due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump, cracks can form at the solenoid core component of the fuel pump. As a result, a fuel leak can occur in lower mileage vehicles when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation.
Safety RiskIf a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased.
RemedyRegistered owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. The dealer will inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump with an improved part, if necessary. Owners who have paid to have these repairs completed at their own expense may be eligible for reimbursement, in accord with the recall reimbursement plan on file with NHTSA. For additional questions, owners may contact American Honda's Customer Support & Campaign Center at 1-888-234-2138.

Checked my VIN and my '23 Sport Hybrid has the steering gearbox recall. Notice said to schedule appointment with local dealer online and, of course, I didn't believe dealer would have parts yet. Had appointment to inspect my S2K so I asked about the recall while I waited. They "expect" parts for inventory on the lot around Nov 1. and suggested I call mid Nov if I haven't heard from them.
Update: rechecked, now affected by both recalls.

My 2023 sport touring is included in both recalls.
I knew this a while ago and was told to wait for the official letter. I finally received (1) letter from Honda and it was about the steering box. The letter says to make an appointment with my dealer. When I called them, I was told that they did not have the parts needed and that I would be placed on their list to be scheduled when parts arrived. My fuel pump could be checked at the same time when I’m called in. Moved on to another dealer out of curiosity and was told that they just ran out and are expecting more parts and I would be placed on the list. My dealer failed to tell me this which tells me that they are making repairs first come first served.
Hope the steering box spring lube job recall is not a ticking time bomb.

Those of us with the steering recall, are we supposed to be able to feel or sense this issue when driving? The reason I ask is ever since we’ve had her, sometimes, not all times, I feel a little “rough” spot in the steering wheel that feels a little like a steering correction when you stray a little towards the roads divider line but not a full on shake warning like it does.

I went to the dealer today for my first A1 service and was surprised when they offered to do both recalls. They said they just got the steering box parts in and that the fuel pump sniffer test could be done as well. My fuel pump passed the test so that was all that was done for that recall and the steering had the repair kit installed. They had the car for 5 hours!

Got both recall letters within a week of each other. Both letters say there will be a follow up letter when parts are in. Called the dealer and they verified they don't have the parts yet.
I'm in tomorrow for an A16 as part of my 2 year free oil and tire rotation. I'll see if they can do the fuel pump test at that time. 🤞

Located Sask., Canada. Received recall notices via email 3 weeks ago. Decided to call the dealer and was told they have a wait list of 50 owners for the steering issue. They don't stock the steering parts, so he placed an order for the steering parts and am in the queue for the repair. No parts yet available for the fuel pump issue, but if the part becomes available, then they will add to the steering appointment.

Did not really notice any issues with the steering, any sticky, tug issue I always related to the Lane Keeping Assist System, so who knows.

If you don't mind, could you let us know how much they charged you when you get the differential fluid changed (code 6)? I was charged $122 (fluid and labor) and I've seen prices as high as $270

Thanks!
