Man, I'm glad I joined the forum! Thanks for the warm welcome.
Well, there is a fair amount of kidding here. No offense intended, just an odd car-butting market.

Interesting, never noticed that with Honda.
Not unique to Honda, happens to every OEM in the first year. May not even be major issues, could just be fit/finish, rattles, a few electronic bugs and the like. My son ignored my advice about buying an early Toyota off the line and had tones of issues that have since been ironed out. No pre-production testing can substitute for the experience of thousands or cars driven in real-world conditions by non-engineers.

While I don't think it's the greatest idea to buy a new generation vehicle, I will probably be in for a 2023 Hybrid this winter/spring. Two local dealers are taking deposits and pricing at msrp plus requiring $700 - 1300 of add-ons. One dealer says they will sell at msrp though I don't entirely trust them. There are two other dealers I haven't contacted. I will only pay msrp and will wait if necessary. I'll also be getting a Honda Care extended warranty as I did with my 2017 CRV. Looks like the price of the warranty has only gone up about 10% in the past five years which seems pretty reasonable.

Did anyone recently get CRV from PA/NJ area? Please share your price. Also, anyone knows ETA on the hybrid model? My dealer says they expect delivery in January.
I'm in the greater Harrisburg area and I have a deposit on a Sport Touring with Bobby Rahal Honda. In their October order they were able to order the color I preferred but do not have a build date yet. According to the conversations and emails I have had with my sales person, I am purchasing at MSRP + $100 for wheel lock nuts. When they get a build date I will be signing paper work and can update with final pricing then. There are a few add-ons I would like, but their pricing for those installed is a little steep and I will most likely order from College Hills Honda. According to my sales person they have just received their first batch of about EX and EX-L.

Supposedly my Sport Touring model is scheduled to be built the first week of December and the dealer said that typically deliveries are 45-60 days out from that, so maybe late January or early February. They are anticipating their hybrid demo model arriving mid-December...

The EX I ordered was built 2 weeks ago and is scheduled delivery next week.

Gen6.

The underlying notion being that Honda's new generations are pretty buggy the first year.
Hope the positive is that the engine is a slightly modified version on the 1.5T, no reinvention

Here's the accessory list with installed prices that I recently received from my dealer. Personally, I only plan on getting the hitch, because the install process for that looks like a complete PITA...

Thanks for sharing! We have an EXL AWD on order, waiting on delivery from Ohio. We got the protection package, cargo cover, door edge guards and the rear USB. They are doing the "window tint" as well, with a $1900 adder to MSRP.

I just signed papers for a Sport Hybrid 2WD in a free color - scheduled to arrive on or before 12/3. MSRP plus required $299 for window tint. $100 doc fee, approx $255 in non taxable fees (registration, inspection, etc) plus 6.25% state tax. Total out the door $36,473 - Dallas, TX area.

Did you mean to say Sport vs Sport Touring? I believe all US Sport Tourings are AWD. Thanks for posting your deal.

As pointed out, there are no Sport Touring 2WD in the US and the MSRP is $38,600. Did you mean the Sport 2WD or maybe the EX-L 2WD?

Also just an FYI, you can get genuine OEM Honda accessories for way cheaper than that above listed price from Honda dealerships. Just search by part number such as 08W18-3A0-100 for the bronze HPD wheels or 08W18-3A0-100A for the black version. Should be able to find them for $300 apiece ($1200 for a set), and installation is obviously a cinch if you have a jack and torque wrench, or any tire and wheel shop will do it for very cheap.

I'm planning to get the bronze wheels for a winter tire set with larger sidewalls than the 19" stock wheels.
